League leaders Quins travelled to Greenisland to play on a bitterly cold
Saturday afternoon. From the off, Quins proved troublesome to the home team.
Indeed the half time score of 5-0 to Quins reflected their dominance of the
game.
In the second half, Greenisland found confidence and played good team hockey
through the midfield. Testament to this is that player of the match was jointly
awarded between Jan Doherty, Jeanna Robb and Jenny Dillon. Greenisland’s
defence stepped up to the mark in the second half only permitting Quins one
further goal – the match ending 6-0 to Quins.
