Fiona Nelson scored Greenisland's goal and shared the player of the match with Claire Courtney (pictured) in another solid win for the 3rd XI.
Lindsay Moore, Kirsty Jordan, Louise Hunter and were all on the scorecard as Greenisland romped to a 4-0 victory over Derg Valley in a physical contest.
The 5ths nothced up another 3 points with a 3-0 win away to Ballynahinch. Norma Montgomery, Danielle Neill and Gemma McGookin got the goals. Alex Heyburn was player of the match.

The 3rd's made an impressive start to their first season in Junior 5 following their promotion last season. Norma Montgomery (pictured) netted 2 and player of the match Lauren Kirker also grabbed a goal.

The 4ths narrowly lost their opening match of the season 1-0 to Banbridge. Player of the match was Barbra Webber.
Claire Courtney scored twice with Judith Sweeney and Jasmine Patterson also hitting the target in a comprehensive victory fot the 5ths. Player of the match was Katie Broadhurst.
In a repeat of last year's One 1918 Ulster Shield match Greenisland 1st XI took on the mighty Ulster champions Pegasus. Greenisland held their own for large periods of the game and played an attacking formation which meant they had to stay strong under the pressure from Pegasus. Despite their efforts Pegasus scored 5 however Greenisland should be proud of their performance and should take many positives from the match. Player of the match was Leah Crooks.
Greenisland faced Premier league side Queens in their first match of the One 1918 Ulster Shield. Despite some solid defensive play, Greenisland conceded two goals in the first half however produced a strong performance in the second period to prevent Queens scoring again. Player of the match was Claire Mayne
Despite a spirited performance Greenisland lost 5-0 to Premier League winners Pegasus in a thrilling midweek match. Greenisland frustrated Pegasus with their strong defending for large periods however were unable to prevent the skill of Pegasus winning though in the end.
